WordPress to the rescue!

Started as a platform for blogs, WordPress has evolved over the few years into a powerful platform on which to build any website. We can use WordPress as a CMS (content management system), allowing you to have complete control of your website and all the content within.

What does this mean?

A website build on WordPress starts with creating a MySQL database. WordPress is the software which we build the website on, which is connected to your new database. This combination gives you the ability to login to your website through a secure login admin area; right from your web browser.

The days of every WordPress website looking like a blog are over. We use the exact same design process that we use when we are creating a regular XHTML website. Any website can be built on WordPress, from Real Estate websites with build in blogs and IDX integration, to a simple 5 page website for Joe's Pizza Shop. Once inside the admin area of your WordPress website you'll see options allowing you to make blog posts, create new pages, edit current pages, add images to galleries or sliders, embed videos on your webpages, manage website users, and a lot more. The admin area is very user friendly, and can be customized for your specific needs.

One of the great things about building a website on the WordPress platform is the ability to install plugins. Plugins extend WordPress and can do a variety of different things; calendars, social media integration, image galleries, surveys, etc.
